Our friends at Gaia Industries have been kind enough to send along a whole whack of information and screen shots of their upcoming XBLA title, Street Trace:NYC. Click any of the thumbnails to see the full images.
While this game, unfortunately wasn't one of the ten games recently announced to be making it's way to the service next, we have been assured that it is still expected this Spring.
If you are having trouble waiting that long remember that if you are in the NY area on Feb. 6th and feel like getting a chance to check out the game early, simply drop us a line.
The game will have the following features:
- Arena Combat and Race Combat on tricked-out jet boards
- 9 unique playable characters
- 7 game modes (4 arena combat, 3 racing)
- 6 real-world NYC locations (3 Arenas, 3 Street Circuits)
- Single Player: 5 Championships and 18 Time Trials for Medals
- Local Multiplayer: Split-screen (2-4 players)
- Live Multiplayer: Take on 'Tracers' on Xbox Live (up to 8 players)
- Upgradeable Weapons: Laser, Mines, Stampede, and Rockets
- Upgradeable Board: Jump, Boost, Shields and Engines
- Cash Tournaments: upgrade board and weapon between games
- Pickup Matches upgrades are found during battle
- 40+ leader boards - Earn 12 Achievements - HDTV Support
For you achievement junkies out there, here they are:
- 15 - Pickup Tournament Pro - Complete 10 Pickup Tournaments on Xbox Live
- 20 - Ranked Tracer - Complete 25 Ranked Matches on Xbox Live
- 5 - Bronze Medal - Earn a Bronze Medal in a Time Trial
- 20 - Tracer Veteran - Earn 100 Points in Single Player Tournaments and Time Trial Medals
- 30 - Tracer Champion - Earn a Gold Medal in the Battle Royale Tournament
- 25 - Platinum Medal - Earn a Platinum Medal in a Tournament by winning every match
- 5 - Flip Award - Perform a Back Flip
- 25 - Upgrade Award - Fully upgrade your board and your weapons
- 10 - Grind Award - Take down an opponent while on a grind
- 20 - Rampage Award - Earn 4 Takedowns in a row before another Tracer can get one
- 10 - 8 Player Award - Complete an 8 player match over Xbox Live
- 15 - Cash Tournament Pro - Complete 10 Cash Tournaments on Xbox Live

Good job on adding pictures. Improves the site no end.
Not sure if you heard the 1up Yours podcast a couple of weeks ago. Everyone knows Geo Wars 2 is happening, but Luke Smith reckons it's happenning "before the summer" (1Up Yous 19/01/2007 1h33min in).
BTW - could that mean PGR4 before the summer - doesn't sound likely..
