GDC: Schizoid screens revealed

Well the XBLA news and info from GDC just keeps pouring in. This time it's screen shots for the "first XNA developed" XBLA title (Gee you'd think TeamXbox would know that ), Schizoid. While you can't really tell much about the game from the shots, they certainly look better than I was initially expecting.

I completely overlooked the fact that this game is being done by Torpex. Jamie Fristrom I feel is one of the lesser known solid minds in this industry. His blog has always been insightful and brilliant.

Looks nice... I'm feeling much better about XBLA right now than I did a few weeks ago. :)

It kinda reminded me of...

As soon as I saw the first screenshot with the shrimp/scorpions something instantly came to my mind, FLOW on the PS3. That was my initial thought, seeing the other screenshots it obviously doesn't feel like it but hey, you can't deny the similarities on the art design.

Anyway, to be a garage game and look this good I hope for the best. Certainly gameplay seems to be what matters here. If it plays good I'll definitely get it.
