Exit Coming to XBLA

Japanese developer Taito revealed in Famitsu this week that they will be bringing their hit PSP game, Exit, to Xbox Live Arcade. The game will retain it's cool style puzzle/platformer and add a few new levels exclusive to the Xbox 360 version. Sadly, only a Japanese release date and price point has been announced (Summer 800 MS Points), but I wouldn't doubt this will be coming out overseas as well. The game itself has critically done rather well with a 77% combined rating from Metacritic and Gamerankings and a 90% from both 1up and Gamespy. At the very least it will be a good way to hold us over until the next Cloning Clyde is released (hopefully). Below is a video of the trailer of the original Exit game for PSP.

Feel free and chime in about what you thought about the game if you have played it previously on the PSP.

Looks pretty cool. I like

Looks pretty cool. I like these kinds of action puzzlers. It seems *much* slower than Clyde though. That game was manic. In a good way though.

Between the likes of Puzzle

Between the likes of Puzzle Quest, Lumines and E4 reaching the XBLA, I can hope we'll see more PSP titles reach the XBLA.

Maybe a guy can hope for MGS: PO next. ;)

I haven't gotten any solid

I haven't gotten any solid indication that Cloning Clyde 2 is coming as of now. I do think that NinjaBee still has a "strong working relationship" with John Nielson (creator of Clyde) so it's definitely feasible. However, they may just be fostering an entirely *new* Nielson idea. And knowing NinjaBee...it might be a might before they actually decide to do a "simple sequel". They love genre hopping!

After Band of Bugs, (based on what I know) I don't think the next game would be Cloning Clyde 2.

But we also have to remember that NinjaBee/Wahoo is working on 4 games right now...three of which are pushing toward release (Band of Bugs, Space Station Tycoon, Saga) so they may be looking to fill their plate up soon.

I think we've publicly

I think we've publicly announced that we're working with John on a new game, but we're not able to talk about any details.

For the foreseeable future, John's group (J. Kenworthy Entertainment) and NinjaBee will continue to work together on Live Arcade games. John loves Live Arcade and has no immediate intention to do anything else. :) Fortunately, that's great with us, so we'll keep working with him on whatever he's doing.
