Roboblitz CTO interviewed

“Thrills Killa” is at it again, this time bringing us an interview with Chief Technical Officer of Naked Sky, Joshua Glazer.

While most XBLA developers are quick to avoid any specifics when it comes to pricing, Joshua is very specific in his “1,200 Points” answer. Another interesting answers was to the multi-player question where he talks about how the initial offering of Roboblitz won’t have multi-player but rather it will show up later in an expansion (no doubt a move to keep under the 50MB limit).

I have some time at work, so…

I really hope that this game releases soon. I hope any Arcade game releases soon. For the next few months, there is really nothing to look forward to.. except Dead Rising. I’m sure other’s have different opinions, but there aren’t any ‘incredible’ A+ titles for a while.

Now is the time to release those arcade titles that have been announced too early, and delayed too long. I am not going to want to play Street Fighter II when I have Splinter Cell: Double Agent.

That includes these titles that should have been out, or be out by the end of this month:

Texas Hold ‘Em Poker (Major Nelson’s Podcast said March)
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (Calendar says Prime Time 06/15/2006)
Mad Tracks (Website says June)
Hoopworld (Streamline confirmed March/April)
Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting (CES Note - March, Spring Fling - April, Xbox Down Under - May, Calendar - 06/10/2006)
Cloning Clyde (Xbox Down Under - May)
Pac - Man (E3 - This Month)
Galaga (E3 - This Month)
Frogger (E3 - This Month)

Of course, I’m going to take a wild guess and say that we will see 2 Arcade Games, at most, by the end of this month… Pac - Man and Galaga.

Today is Wednesday.. maybe I’ll get to chomp on ghosts when I get home.
