Introversion says those rumors are wrong (for now)

everyone keeps missing the end of it where it says "we’ve not made a single deal yet and we never will that will compromise that in any way"... looks like those early Q1 2006 rumors are not true... yet
I think, based in my reading of the interview, that they were trying to say "We've never yet made a deal that compromised our creative integrity."
They just worded it badly. It sounds like, from their interview, that they do like the business models of the XBLA and the other console's download services.
As much as I'd love to see a version of Darwinia on the XBLA, I have a hard time believing that it's going to happen.
As far as I know Introversion is still a company comprised of three people, only one of whom is a developer.
I have a hard time believing that a company that small would have the time, resources, or even expertise needed to get a game through the clearly rigorous Xbox testing certification processes.
This is another case where I'd love to be wrong. I just have a hard time believing it will happen.
The one thing going for it though is that they have already gone threw a similar process with being part of MSN games. Also it already has support for the 360 controller. Add in the fact that it's only 38.6MB and I think that chances are good. I wouldn't be surprised if this was announced at next weeks GDC.
