New XBLA splash screen
Both of the game released this week (Marathon and Spyglass Board Games) had a new "Xbox Live Arcade" splash screen up before anything else.
I've never seen it before, so I believe that's the first two games with the screen.
... I don't know why the screen is there, and it probably doesn't really mean anything....
Just thought I'd make a post about it.
First time I saw it I was expecting it to read as "Xbox Live Arcade Exclusive".
I guess they decided even though we picked up a controller with the Xbox logo, booted up to a Xbox logo, started on a dashboard page with an XBOX live logo and title, clicked on Xbox Live Arcade only to see an Xbox Live Arcade logo that we forgot we were playing an arcade game on an Xbox.
Yeah, shoving one more logo in there doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but I have to assume they feel it is there for a reason.

As someone who appreciate efficient and clean UIs, the clutter on the dashboard really gets me going. I can scarcely perform any operation without thinking of better ways to place objects.
On that note, I believe there're 5 occurances of the word "Xbox" on the primary (Live) blade. I suppose in some alternate universe, most gamers will assume they are playing a Playstation title ...
