Bad News Express: Geo Wars 2 Coop Local Only

If you wanted to blast shapes with buddies across the globe when Geo Wars 2 drops "next month" you are about to be disappointed.  Xbox360Fanboy has confirmed that there will be no online coop in the game citing "too much going on" to make it work.  That's all I can say about it.  I need to go cry.

I can't decide whether or not to be mad about this, simply because GeoWars has so much happening at once that even a small amount of latency could ruin the experience. Shame though.

I know what you mean

I know what you mean Steelback. It is a tough to consider the fact that online coop just might not be feasible. But since I have a friend I like to coop with that lives in Australia (aka as far away as possible on the earth), this news hits me where it hurts.

I don't mind. Geo Wars is about leaderboard battles to me, not multiplayer over live.

I can seriously imagine doing it over Xbox Live would be a serious problem. I just hope they don't have too many achievements for coop...
