15 Achievement Games

15 Achievement Games

After finally picking up the expansion pack for Puzzle Quest, and playing through it, it struck me that PQ is the first XBLA title that I've picked up all 15 Achievements in. Looking around I've noticed that currently there are 6 titles that have recieved the extra 3 achievements:

  • Puzzle Quest
  • Band of Bugs
  • Gripshift
  • Pinball FX
  • Rocketmen
  • Ticket to Ride
This got me thinking... have any of you gotten 15/15 in any of these games, and secondary, do more achievements mean you would be more likely to pay for DLC?

I've got 250/250 in Puzzle

I've got 250/250 in Puzzle Quest (the only one of those games I own), and achievements definitely add extra incentive for me to pay for DLC.

I got the Band of Bugs

I got the Band of Bugs ones. I did not buy the expansions for the achievements, but they were a nice touch.

Um...pretty much, what Badgenome said. lol I only own Puzzle Quest, and have all 15/15, and extra achievements would make a DLC pack more attractive. However, that wouldn't really be a selling point. If I don't like the game, or simply just don't want the DLC, I won't get it, extra points or not (or free or not, for that matter). For Puzzle Quest, I wanted to play it; the extra points were more like a side bonus. For games like, say, Katamari or Overlord I don't care. If I had Pinball, I probably wouldn't get the extra tables.

Red Kingdom

Is the Red Kingdom DLC worth it? I`ve checked out the first DLC and it`s pretty good, but I`m currious about the second one.

I was not disappointed with buying it. It gives another 10 levels and a couple new units which I thought were a lot of fun to play. But, I really enjoyed the main game.

You forgot about Marathon:

You forgot about Marathon: Durandal. It also has 15 achievements. There might be more but I can't remember.

Thanks K4rnage, I had just done a quick check on Achieve360Points.com (only place that had them listed on one page that I could find), last time I'll do that!

Can anyone think of any others?

I rarely buy any

I rarely buy any DLC personally. I purchased BoB expansions because I like the game and I wanted to support them as developers.

I would like the Puzzle Quest DLC, but since I only purchase point cards now (due to previous mischarges by MS on my credit card) the odd point value has deterred me. There are complete XBLA games which are only 100 points more and even divide a point card.

Achievements have no effect on what I purchase. I very rarely even attempt to get specific achievements in any game or even 100% for a game. I just play to the end of the story usually.
