Also this week, Ikaruga, Treasure's award-winning scrolling shooter brings a tactical twist to the genre with its yin-and-yang gameplay: the color of your ship determines your effect on enemies. In this polarized system, enemy ships and their bullets are one of two colors. Attack an enemy of the opposite color for extra damage. Absorb enemy fire of the same color as your ship, and use the energy for a special attack. Destroy multiple enemies of the same color to score a chaining bonus. Play solo or cooperatively, and use your polarity to achieve victory! Xbox LIVE Gold Members can now grab the Arcade game Ikaruga for only 400 Microsoft Points. That’s 50% off of the normally 800 points, this ‘Deal of the Week’ will be available until Monday, July 20th.
And finally this week, Wolfenstein 3D, initially released at the beginning of June, but was also not available in several Xbox LIVE regions. Now a month and a half later, the game has become available in Australia, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan. However, it is still not available in Japan or Germany.

Being a Madball fan when I was a kid might not be enough to sell me on a game based on them. I look forward to trying the demo but the fact that it's a shooter seems odd. How do Madballs hold guns without any arms? Should be cool to see my avatar's head rolling around.
I've only played Curse of Monkey Island so really looking forward to the re-release of Secrets of Monkey Island. Hopefully it holds my attention longer than Sam & Max - still haven't bothered finishing the first episode and not very anxious to do so.

Madballs Babo invasion is an awesome game! I recommend this game to anyone looking for a good action shooter with multiplayer and coop support. It doesnt have a crazy price tag either, its only 800MS.
The single player campaign is decent with 10 levels that you will have to play twice to unlock everything (playing as both factions). You can play again to get higher scores as well or play some 4 player coop. There are also hidden books/secrets through out the game that you can collect for an achievement.
The multiplayer is a blast! You really don't have to be crazy good to be decent in the game online. Just blast away and you'll get some kills. Word of advice though... unlock everything in single player or coop first as you cant use weapons or characters in multiplayer until you have unlocked them. The game supports up to 16 player mayhem with plenty of different modes such as deathmatch, capture the flag, and a neat power node game to name a few.
Another neat feature is the avatar support. They have an avatar mode online where you play as your very own avatars head! The process of reducing your avatar to a rolling head is pretty funny as well.
For all of those achievement junkies out there, it really isnt too hard to get all the achievements in this game. I believe the ranking up online will take the longest but even then its very doable.
So if you have 800MS to spend, you should definitely check out Madballs. Download the demo and give it a roll. I bet you won't be disappointed.
