Geometry Wars 2 Confirmed for XBLA

The Australian ratings group, OFLC, has updated their site with a few new Xbox Live Arcade entires. The interesting deal is that with this update they confirmed everyone suspicions that Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2 will be coming soon to Xbox Live Arcade. The last time we brought up the rumor for this game was for the 100th game release, but it looks like we were off by a few months. No fears as it will be coming soon now!

Braid, Go Go Break Steady and Vigilante 8 arcade have also been placed on the OFLC.

I'm firmly of the opinion

I'm firmly of the opinion that this title has been completed for a while now. I've heard that it was playable (behind closed doors) at last years TGS. My guess is that both Bizzare being bought by Activision and not wanting to be overshadowed by Galaxies were the reasons for it's delay.

Geometry Wars is overrated, but maybe it's the fact that I can't score more than 100,000 points in a game.

Good news!

This is a great news! I actually spoke about the GW sequel with my friend today.

I wish this is coming soon, but I wouldn't probably buy it immediately if it came tomorrow because I just today bought Small Arms. But surely someday.

When this Geometry Wars:Retro Evolved tells that the original, Retro Geometry Wars is evolved, will this GW2 then be Geometry Wars: Evolved Evolved?
