Does anyone know what the recent update, which I believe went out on Monday, did?

I'm asking around, but I've been told that getting an answer doesn't look too good.

Could you imagine how well nondescript auto updates would go over in the PC world :)

True but that's the difference between the open-architecture PC world, and the Closed Xbox 360, where MS has motivation not to let the competition know about any bugs, even after they're fixed.

I'm hearing they fixed some of the graphical problems and that the button reassignment actually functions now.

I've also heard "I Am The Wind" has been replaced with an orchestral tune. I haven't bothered booting it up to double check, so take it with a grain of salt.

While I understand where you're coming from, it drives me nuts that they are changing something that I purchased without telling me what the changes were.

Based on the reaction I've seen, Microsoft made a smart choice about not announcing the "I Am The Wind" change (Though, I'm sure there was a legal licensing problem. Not Microsoft just wanting to punish people).

I don't think it much to do with letting the competition know about problems. But to patch it, implies it was flawed from the beginning. This just adds more gasoline to the "Developers are purposely being lazy and releasing half finished games" fire. I've noticed that even balancing patches are often met with resistance. As if a developer purposely made one aspect the game too difficult/easy to mess with our collective head.
